The Role

Our graduate scheme aims to bring new graduates up to speed on our products and technologies, fully immersing them in the teams which they are working with. 

This Technical Specialist Graduate will work with the Clinical Executive team, which is composed of healthcare professionals who play a pivotal role in shaping the healthcare solutions, strategies and sales. This team is comprised of experienced individuals from various healthcare backgrounds, such as physicians, nurses, healthcare administrators, who help ensure that InterSystems' products are not only technologically advanced but also clinically effective and aligned with the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. This graduate will add technical expertise to the team, working on the tools and systems that the team leverages day to day. 

This role will

  • Begin with an accelerated training in our Healthcare products
  • Expand skills with training and hands on experience of Data Platform management as well as System Integrations
  • Learn structured processes that align with industry standard Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, ISO-27001)
  • Acquire the necessary skills to assist our clinical executive team in addressing their day to day challenges whilst also assisting our customer base
  • Develop technical proficiency in deploying software updates to complex, enterprise wide solutions.
  • This is a 9 month contract, of which the first 6 months will be a full time office based role (Windsor, UK). 

Qualifications:

  • Intended for recent or soon to be graduates from a Bachelor’s, Master’s level qualification
  • Interdisciplinary academic work in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Bioengineering or STEM preferred
  • Proven prior coding experience in any language, including: Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python, or similar
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Demonstrated initiative through academic excellence, extracurricular, or work experiences
  • Technical curiosity and creativity towards complex technical challenges
  • Collaborative team mindset
  • Flexible demeanor in an ever-changing work environment

For the first 3 or 6 months (experience and role dependent), we ask our employees to work in the office 5 days a week. Once this period is up, they can drop down to 3 days in the office, one of which must be Monday.
