The Role

About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies, who is eager to grow their career in robotics and automation.

In your day-to-day work, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with clients, engineers, and internal teams to drive sales and deliver innovative robotics solutions.

Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.


In this role, you’ll:

  • Provide sales teams with technical expertise and guidance to address customer inquiries and challenges effectively
  • Use your proven experience presenting technical solutions tailored to customer needs for audiences ranging from end-users to C-level executives
  • Monitor the market by analysing trends and competitive activities, to identify new business opportunities and enhance the company’s competitive position
  • Manage the sales process, from drafting proposals to finalising contracts, ensuring seamless execution and successful outcomes
  • Travel occasionally to client sites and industry events

Your Profile

  • Possesses 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, business development, project management or a related role
  • Solid technical understanding in the field of software development, robotics would be a plus
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible and  adaptable way of working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated and self-starter mentality, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or a related field

Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
