About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies, who is eager to grow their career in robotics and automation.
In your day-to-day work, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with clients, engineers, and internal teams to drive sales and deliver innovative robotics solutions.
Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide sales teams with technical expertise and guidance to address customer inquiries and challenges effectively
- Use your proven experience presenting technical solutions tailored to customer needs for audiences ranging from end-users to C-level executives
- Monitor the market by analysing trends and competitive activities, to identify new business opportunities and enhance the company’s competitive position
- Manage the sales process, from drafting proposals to finalising contracts, ensuring seamless execution and successful outcomes
- Travel occasionally to client sites and industry events
Your Profile
- Possesses 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, business development, project management or a related role
- Solid technical understanding in the field of software development, robotics would be a plus
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable way of working in a rapidly changing environment
- Self-motivated and self-starter mentality, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or a related field
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
