A day in the life of Atotech
In your role as Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) in the decorative industry, you will be an important part of our future growth strategy. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for solving POP (Plating on Plastic)/DECO customer problems, together with the customer on the customer side. You will also be an important part of our future growth strategy. Together with your colleagues, you will also be responsible for generating new business for the DECO and POP business. You will report to the Business Manager Electronics & Deco/PoP.
Your responsibilities
- Visit existing PoP/DECO customers
- Research and capture new customers for the DECO and PoP business
- Prepare the customer price quotations and pricing processes because of the meetings with the customer
- Forward the quotations to the customer and to determine a road map according to the consequence
- İnitiate the make-up processes or conversions for the new customers and to periodically visit and monitor the developments and making controls
- Follow up the existing customers by arranging periodical visits
- Report the projects in the project forms directly to the Business Manager
- Cooperate with Business Manager to support the customer on the field
What you bring to the table
- A degree in Chemical Engineeing
- Relevant practical work experience in the field of PoP (Plating on plasic) and metal pre-treatments, decorative galvanic processes and their chemical and plated parts analysis
- You communicate convincingly and confidently in Turkish and English
- Confident authentic communicator at eye level combined with excellent project and multi-stakeholder management skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality, as you will be handling and analysing sensitive data
- A structured and independent way of working, but also the ability to work in a team with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel in Turkiye (max. 10%)
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Work experience in the chemical industry
- SAP experiences
