Role Summary:

As a Technical Product Manager at Gesture, you will be a crucial part of our product development team, responsible for shaping and delivering exceptional digital experiences to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to drive the development of innovative features and improvements to our platform.

This role offers flexibility, with options for Full-time, Part-time, or Contract positions. You will be based at our New York Headquarters (non-remote), where you’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment working alongside passionate individuals committed to redefining brand-consumer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Innovation

  • Implement A/B testing strategies that allow us to quickly iterate, accept, or reject innovative ideas
  • Identify blockers to innovation and recommend ways to improve
  • Utilize rapid iteration to get to decisions quickly
Rapid product development

  • Rapid feedback

Leadership

  • Recommend improvements in the product process and present options to the leadership team.
  • Take ownership of ensuring the success of experiments and reporting on effectiveness

Communication

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal teams and stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product messaging and go-to-market strategies.

Project Management: 80%

Feature Prioritization and Roadmap

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Create and manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve product performance.
  • Define and track key product metrics, using insights to guide future enhancements.

Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet high standards of quality and reliability through testing schedules and acceptance processes.
  • Address and prioritize bug fixes and improvements based on user feedback and testing results. 


Agile Development

  • Implement and advocate for agile development methodologies to quickly respond to market changes.
  • Manage agile development using industry-standard tools.
  • Report on progress, room for improvement, and recommendations.

Product Management: 20%

Product Strategy

  • Define and execute the product strategy in alignment with the overall company goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product roadmap and prioritize features..

      • > 6-month roadmap with high-level goals

Product Development

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to develop and launch high-quality products.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

User Experience and Design

  • Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that features are intuitive and aligned with user needs.
  • Collaborate with UX/Ul designers to create and iterate on wireframes and designs.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant or advanced field is a plus but not required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Gesture is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is in addition to commissions and bonuses. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
