About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. The Technical Project Manager must have hands-on technical experience leading the design and implementation of secure, compliant environments, with a demonstrated ability to independently dive into resources like manuals, forums, vendor guidance, and AI tools to solve problems and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates for internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables.
Technical Expertise:
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and other technical teams to define project requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure alignment with technical standards.
Risk Management:
- Identify risks, proactively inform leadership and develop solutions to mitigate in order to ensure the project is delivered on time.
Team Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining accountability.
- Support current and prospective team members in advancing their careers at Red Cup IT.
Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while meeting project objectives.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve project management methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and post-project evaluations.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in the MSP industry, ideally working in a SaaS environment.
- Must have Halo PSA or similar experience.
- Must have Jira project management or similar experience.
- Excellent project manager with proven experience executing large, cross functional, projects.
- Strong customer-facing skills are essential for interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with the project delivery.
- Strong collaborator and influencer who brings groups together and unifies around a common plan.
- Remain calm under pressure with an awareness for when to escalate or raise risks.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional communicator who is able to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal form.
- Goal-oriented with an ownership mentality, organized and strong executor.
- Strong attention to detail and high commitment to work standards for yourself and those around you.
- Willingness and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth technology environment.

- Project management professional (PMP) or equivalent.
