Do you have professional experience in the construction industry and a technical understanding of products and project configuration? Are you customer-oriented, detail-focused, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks? Then join us as a Technical Project Manager at VELUX Commercial in Budapest. In this role, you will oversee construction projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, coordinate activities on construction sites, and support our Field Sales team, all while contributing to the growth of our business.

Your challenges

In this role, you will join our VELUX Commercial Sales Operations team which is dedicated to putting the needs of our customers first. As team, we offer as well as accept help and feedback and make sure to have fun together.

Your primary tasks include:

• Direct and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• Monitor compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Coordinate activities on construction sites across Hungary until handover.
• Manage subcontractors and back-office operations to meet contractual performance conditions.
• Prepare external and internal documents related to building sites.
• Review projects daily to ensure quality construction standards and budget adherence.
• Address customer inquiries regarding construction sites.
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure orders are in the ERP system.
• Support Field Sales as needed.
• Handle financial aspects, including writing invoices and issuing guarantees.
• Perform small finance tasks.
• Undertake other tasks as requested by the Back Office Manager.
• Edit Auto-CAD drawings.

Your qualifications

We expect that you have:

• Professional experience in the construction industry.
• Technical or construction-based university degree.
• Advanced English skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive processes forward.
• Strong attention to detail with an accurate and precise working style.
• Flexibility to manage deadline pressure.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated with a 'get things done' attitude.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 2-3 days per week depending on the project pipeline).
• Basic Auto-CAD knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Valid driver's license.
