BLN24 is looking for a Technical Project Manager-Business Analyst to join our team.

What you bring to the Game

  • Work closely with colleagues to understand technical needs. Understand how any disruptions will potentially change a project and affect the business. Communicating with team leads to ensure client satisfaction, and provide recommendations as needed.
  • Lead and drive the Data Platform Modernization assessment and road mapping. Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables.
  • Technical discussions and create documentation for on premise systems to migration to the cloud with a phases approach
  • Conducted detailed business and technical analyses to identify migration requirements, designed cloud-native solutions for large-scale Oracle database transformations, and implemented cloud-based frameworks for spatial data processing and advanced ETL operations to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Facilitate assessment workshops and develop blueprints, business cases, roadmaps and executive summary.
  • Apply the appropriate project management methodology practices to IT projects as defined by the customer needs, requirements, and constraints.
  • Understand system development lifecycle activities, practices, and implementation.
  • Manage all aspects of a project from initiation, development, reporting and closeout.
  • Set project goals and objectives and develop measures and metrics to ensure they are met and accomplished. 
  • Develop project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
  • Oversee the project’s progress, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget, and communicates status and progress to all applicable stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the project team ensuring customer requirements, needs, and expectations are clear and communicated throughout the project. 
  • Delegate tasks to the project team based on identifying team roles and responsibilities. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of Information Technology experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data management and data manipulation skills, including a strong foundation in SQL programming.
  • Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
  • Project management skills implementing two or more of the following project methodologies: waterfall, agile, structured agile, lean, or rapid action development (RAD); other methodologies identified based on project experience and requirements.
  • Ability to manage project requirements, constraints, quality, and delivery. 
  • Familiar with and applies the appropriate project management tools and techniques to manage and deliver successful projects
  • This role requires you to be a strong analytical thinker, detail-oriented and love working with data with a strong background in data analytics.
  • Experience working with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship required.
