Job Description: Technical Program Manager
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager, to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Technical Program Management Function in a Global Data & Tech Org, this position will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of complex technical programs and projects. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product management, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale technical programs from inception through delivery.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure alignment between program goals and overall business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, and other teams to drive project success.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging deep understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform program strategy and execution.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Proactively manage and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with senior leadership and other stakeholders to provide updates on program status and performance.
- Gather and incorporate feedback to refine program goals and deliverables.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes and methodologies.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in program execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Advanced degrees preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management or a similar role, with at least 1 years in a senior capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience managing complex technical projects and programs. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and related technologies. Candidates who possess prior hands-on software development experience and a solid grasp of SDLC, along with proficiency in advanced analytics, data science, data engineering, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and advertising and marketing technology concepts are preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive results.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully navigating challenges and delivering solutions.
- Certifications: Candidates with PMP, PgMP or similar program management certifications, CSM, PSM or similar Agile Scrum certifications, any cloud/technical certifications are highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
