We're hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager for Identity.

As a member of this team you will be responsible for one or more of the critical components, customer scenarios and/or programs.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
- Analyze the state of your platform and product components, business objectives, customer needs, product adoption inhibitors, industry trends, and based on these, in close collaboration with your stakeholders, define a long-term strategy and roadmap for your platform and product components.
- Translate the strategy and platform/product requirements into technical requirements and solutions in collaboration with your partner teams and engineering counterparts.
- Drive the execution of the articulated roadmap. This will likely require scoping and execution of numerous programs, some of which you will shepherd yourself, as well as others that will be led by your colleagues.
- Manage complex dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company
- Drive adoption/usage of your platform across Atlassian products
- When appropriate, contribute to the definition of the strategy and roadmap of the Identity area overall, help scope and drive the Identity-wide programs.
- While this list highlights the most common responsibilities, I want to emphasize the importance of the sense of ownership that you will have for your components of the platform and product, programs, customer scenarios. This means that you will need to proactively identify any inhibitors, issues or opportunities, and proactively address them yourself or find the right owners to do so. The bottom line is that you are a true owner of your area and the buck stops with you.
- 10+ years on software teams as TPM, Engineer, Development Manager or PM
- Analyzing business priorities, customer needs, industry trends and articulating a long-term roadmap for your area of responsibilities
- Translating customer and/or product requirements into technical requirements
- Influencing architecture or technical design, by leveraging subject matter expertise and technical depth that you build in your previous roles
- Driving projects spanning multiple teams, including negotiating and reaching agreement with your partners and stakeholders, shepherding the project while identifying and mitigating risks, making trade-off decisions optimizing the outcome
- Extensive experience building Identity solutions
- Experience building a commercial Cloud Services is a big plus
