Department OverviewInnovation is the oxygen of our company, and in 2023, we invested more than US$850 million in research and development (R&D). We’re now opening a new Research & Development Centre in Cork, Ireland focused on designing software for the company’s comprehensive land mobile radio (LMR) portfolio, with plans for expansion across other technologies in the future.

Job Description
Your role is pivotal in shaping comprehensive project plans and ensuring that all aspects of the project are on track. You'll lead regular status meetings, provide clear updates on project progress, and outline forthcoming tasks. Your problem-solving skills will come into play as you utilize project management tools to navigate any issues that arise, keeping your projects advancing smoothly.
As a leader, you'll energize your team, driving performance and keeping everyone aligned with our objectives. With your guidance, we'll continue to achieve quality results and push the boundaries of innovation in our industry.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

Develop and manage project schedules to support the strategic direction of the organization.
-
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
-
Manage change requests and communication around the requests.
-
Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing.
-
Manage program and multiple project teams for optimal return-on-investment, ensuring all program goals are met.

Conduct project team meetings.
-
Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
-
Present program status as required to different organization levels.

Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess program risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans. Drive for closures.

Work with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
-
Work with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.
-
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Basic Requirements
-
The candidate should have a bachelor college degree.
-
The candidate should have 5+ years of Program Management experience and 2+ years of People Management experience.
-
Experience in using both traditional Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies.
Additional Qualified Skills:
-
Experience with launching end-to-end Software programs.
-
Able to work on complex issues and develop resolutions where deep analytical skills and creativity is required
-
Proficient in Google Applications – Google sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive etc. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and MS-Project
-
PMP certification, Certified SCRUM master and/or other project management certification is preferred
-
Proven competencies in using various Agile competencies in managing projects
-
Able to work with different levels from team members to Senior Leaders within the organization

Strong command of change management issues and methodologies
-
Proven leadership ability with high energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate others

Hands-on, results-oriented and attention to detail

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision

Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management and team-player skills

Very strong team player. Should possess the ability to foster teamwork and a positive working environment to the project team in light of changes and challenges. Should have people skills to be able to work independently with different IT team members in different roles

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences

Excellent listening skills with a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships
