The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This position can be office-based or hybrid from one of the following cities: London, Dublin, Munich, Berlin, or Madrid

We empower Personio's decision-making with advanced analytics and strategic insights, while boosting productivity through systems improvement and automation. Be part of our transformative journey in HR technology, where your contributions will shape our data-driven future.

This Technical Program Manager will drive programs for the Sales Enablement System team.  Typical activities will be planning, designing & driving the success of programs that tackle current and future needs.

You and your team will drive the relationship between our Systems technical teams and business stakeholders, wearing many hats along the way. You’ll work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data, and Product teams to drive the business process systems strategy, roadmaps, requirements, and delivery.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Work with leadership, business stakeholders, and Systems team colleagues to build out shared product and feature roadmaps, aligning to Systems team vision, mission, tenets, and working model - from which working backlogs will be filled and delivered upon.

  • Manage business stakeholder inputs, partnering to refine business requirements and target end result outcomes.

  • Drive and deliver projects from requirements gathering to post-launch support.

  • Working with your Systems team colleagues on projects, translating requirements, scoping the work efforts, breaking work down into deliverables (user stories, tasks, supporting work streams).

  • Partner with Systems team managers, facilitating Agile sprints, ensuring deliverables are clearly articulated, broken-down, assigned, and delivered to plan - all while driving team improvements through use of metrics.

  • Coordinate with partnering business and enablement teams, ensuring smooth program deployments through training, planning, and support activities.

  • Help drive semi-annual planning and budgeting activities, in partnership with systems leadership, business stakeholders, and financial planning colleagues.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Over 3 years of relevant experience as a Technical Program Manager in a systems department context or 3+ years of experience in Sales system operations (e.g., Salesforce operations).

  • Skills in building relationships, leading cross-functional teams, aligning expectations, and communicating proactively to share insights and manage change.

  • Competence in identifying and implementing process improvements, staying updated with technology trends, and developing a vision for Sales systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales operations, with hands-on experience using SaaS tools like Salesforce, Gong & Lean Data.

  • Extensive experience using Jira to manage multi-team projects and programs, ensuring program transparency and timely delivery of results. (Scrum certification is a big plus)

  • Ability to drive roadmap execution, manage timelines, and ensure project goals are met. Oversee technical system programs, develop budgets, timelines, and resources, and manage the backlog and sprints as a Scrum Master.
