We're looking for a Technical Program Manager who can own, nurture and perfect the way we release at SAP LeanIX. All while maintaining the regulatory and legal compliance that comes with being part of SAP. This Technical Program Manager role at SAP LeanIX sits within the Developer Experience tribe. The tribe enables fast, frequent and joyful feature delivery. You'll work with a cross-functional group of people focused on providing our product and engineering teams with the right data, tools, and guidance so they can focus on what matters most: building a world-class product and great customer experiences.
You'll need to be a self-starter with strong leadership, planning, communication and collaboration skills. You should also be comfortable exploring the methodologies, programs and frameworks required by SAP - from understanding them to translating them into automated processes for SAP LeanIX.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU
- Lead the ongoing efforts for compliant releases for all product teams within SAP LeanIX.
- Lead the iterative delivery of strategic cross-functional initiatives to improve the release process through focus, transparency, communication, visibility and accountability.
- Live the spirit of continuous improvement by driving technical and process improvement opportunities
- Work with key stakeholders as the primary driver to ensure compliant and high-quality releases
- Be a strong influencer with credibility among peers and stakeholders, able to build productive, trusting relationships with partners and work autonomously.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education
- Master’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in technical program management, operations, and leadership roles within technology or software development organizations.
- Background in cloud platforms, IoT services, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven track record in research and development, with a history of innovation and publications.
- Successful history of driving complex projects and implementing new processes.
- Experience building organizational programs for continuous delivery for engineering teams.
- Familiarity with compliance and quality management systems; ISO 9001 experience is a plus.
- At least 7 years in software engineering or systems engineering, demonstrating expertise in technical problem-solving.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects iteratively, managing multiple dependencies and constraints.
- Skills:
- Ability to identify gaps, remove roadblocks, and drive alignment across teams.
- Strong focus and adaptability, with skilled task prioritization in fast-paced environments, including excellent conflict management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
- Strong organizational skills and effective multitasking abilities.
- Committed team player who thrives in multicultural settings and collaborates well with teams across various locations.
- Outstanding communication skills, particularly in active listening and empathetic interaction, effectively connecting with all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in English, with business-level fluency, enabling clear and effective communication.
