Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference

As a Technical Product Manager/Engineer, you will be participating in various technical projects and you will also manage test sample stock for the Benelux region and handle products used for testing, marketing, and lending agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing projects on devices like tablets, smartwatches, and mobile phones.
  •  Follow detailed test scripts and structured plans throughout the testing process.
  • Compile and submit comprehensive reports at the end of each testing project.
  • Ensure the proper handling and management of sample stock for testing purposes.
  • Assist in testing technological functions, such as mobile payment features, on various devices.
  • Manage product returns, ensuring all devices are returned on time and in proper condition.
  • Report technical issues or defects found during testing to the development team for further analysis and improvement.

Your team

In this role, you’ll join a dynamic and collaborative team with a flexible work setup that allows you to balance both office and home working. While you’ll have the freedom to structure your day, working on-site is essential for hands-on access to the latest phones and laptops used for testing.
 

The team in the Netherlands is a close-knit group, consisting of two testers, a sample manager, a technical project manager driving the key initiatives and alongside three innovative team members focused on the exciting challenge of translating AI models. Additionally, you’ll also work together with our team from Belgium, there is a 2-weekly online meeting to catch-up with each other.

In this role as a Technical Product Manager/Engineer, you bring a strong interest in and passion for technology, particularly the latest innovative products. With a keen eye for detail and organization, you excel in performing repetitive tasks accurately while adhering to test scripts. Your ability to work independently ensures that you consistently meet deadlines and project expectations, even under pressure. Additionally, you possess excellent stress resilience, strong communication skills, and the ability to plan and organize effectively, which make you a valuable asset to any technical team.
 

We also request:

  • A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Minimal 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • A good command of the Dutch and English language at a professional level
  • Skilled in using MS Office
  • Affinity with Android, including understanding how a smartphone works, how its software is structured, and how a mobile network operates.
