Dynamics of the Role
As part of the Technical Product Management team at TransUnion, the Technical Product Manager will work directly with the product delivery team to ensure stakeholder needs are addressed to meet client demands. The role requires the technical product manager consolidate requirements, translate those into work items, work with the team address gaps and define a high level and technical design; and finally manage execution priorities based on feedback from Technical Product Management.
How You'll Contribute

  • Technical expertise; required to be technology team facing, i.e. working with the engineering team on a daily basis converting identified needs to actual deliverables.
  • Well-organized; maintain the team backlog while still contributing to the overall product strategy working with technical product management and solutions stakeholders.
  • Flexible; as this is a global platform you will be required to work well with virtual teams; comfortable with a flexible work structure that allows for early morning/late night calls with stakeholders domestically and across international.
  • Agile experience; TransUnion leverages agile methodologies, you will be required to be experience in an agile environment.
  • Team player; collaborate with other product managers, product owners, engineering, operations, data science teams, and development team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges


She/he must be willing to accept a dynamic and multi-faceted role requiring working across several teams and geographies. Your deep experience in technology, product development, agile methodologies along with industry expertise in financial services, or a related discipline will allow you to 'hit-the-ground-running' in this fast-paced and evolving matrix business.
What You'll Bring

  • Ability to execute on the product vision, balance business requirements with technology initiatives, provide leadership, manage execution and delivery of projects and programs;
  • Work closely with the technology teams in ensuring a successful and timely implementation of technical requirements;
  • Supporting the Technology teams representing all markets demands on global capabilities and launching solutions successfully.
  • Provide technical support in customer engagements, solution presentations, and technical translations of customer requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a strong technical environment;
  • 5 years product experience as a product manager working with Agile / Scrum work environment as a Product Manager: writing initiatives and features, UAT plans, operational readiness plans, and release collateral or
  • 3 years product experience as a product manager for online fulfilment platforms working with Agile / Scrum work environment as a Product Manager: writing initiatives and features, UAT plans, operational readiness plans, and release collateral.
  • Ability to build value propositions and communicating with various level stakeholders.
  • An understanding of and passion for supporting client's needs in various vertical industry segments (Financial Services, Telco, Healthcare, Government and others);
  • You have the ability and aptitude to think innovatively and drive change within both internal and customers;
  • You work well with virtual teams and have a flexible work structure that allows for early morning/late night calls with resources in other countries.
