NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s motivated by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.
What you'll be going:
At NVIDIA, we are building sensor simulation services to serve autonomous vehicle developers who want to train, test and validate their autonomous stacks in simulation. In this role, you will own the product definition and release of SDKs, reference workflows and software that will enable AV developers to model the behavior and performance of sensors. Sensor simulation for autonomous vehicles requires an ecosystem of partners contributing various elements. Your role will involve working with these partners to build sensor models and enable them to integrate their applications with Omniverse sensor simulation APIs. You will also put together a vision and tackle exciting problems in sensor simulation fidelity, scale and validation.
What we need to see:
-
BS, MS, or PhD experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields or equivalent experience
-
6+ years of experience
-
Strong programming and scripting skills, especially in Python
-
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
-
Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and software libraries, working with engineering or research community
-
Familiarity with Autonomous Driving including Simulation for AV stack and algorithm development
-
Background with simulators such as CARLA, IPG Carmaker, dSPACE, or in-house solutions is a plus.
-
Experience with sensor simulation and developer enagement
-
Familiarity with Docker, Git, OpenCV, MATLAB, PCL, CUDA

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
