Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team working on an exciting new product in PTC’s ALM portfolio. Codebeamer is an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platform for modern product and software development. The world's leading product developers value Codebeamer for its company-wide scalability, high availability and performance, and configurable workflows. The Technical Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions. The candidate will work with the global Codebeamer R&D team and solve complex problems in the ALM domain by designing and implementing modern, scalable, and performant software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Working in an Agile environment, writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance.
  • Participate in the vision, design, and implementation of quality products.
  • Bridge the gap between our product management team and engineering, distilling high level requirements into actionable plans that our expert developers can execute on.
  • Bring a user perspective to the design of our products, ensuring that we deliver products that our customers want to use.
  • Work with engineering teams to produce delivery estimates for new features and products.
  • Work with the Technical Product Managers from other R&D teams to manage dependencies.
  • Support internal training for new products and features.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product priorities.

             

Expertise and Knowledge:

  • Experience with Scrum and agile processes is required.
  • Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.
  • Experience writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance.
  • Experience with productivity tools and languages (Git, IDEs, scripting) is a plus.
  • Object oriented design and development experience, integration with enterprise applications and systems/APIs (Java/REST/SOAP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS EC2, Azure), REST, HTTP, and networking is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge with large scale computing platforms, multi-tenant architectures, cloud-based solutions, high availability solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
  • Demonstrated success in product software development.
  • Minimum 7 years working in an enterprise software company with a focus on technical product and software development using Internet technologies. 
  • Strong technical background with good understanding of SDLC, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
