We are looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role you will work with our customers facing iGaming platform and portal products. The iGaming platform has a lot of integrations to game and payment systems as well as our own backend account system. We have an advanced ecosystem of products handling player data, transactions and third party integrations for gaming operators around the world.

As a Technical Operations Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer-facing applications are supported, maintained and installed correctly. The role involves both support work as well as working on new customer implementation projects.

You will be focusing on technology and software and handle incoming incidents, change requests, problems and in-depth root cause analyses. You will also be working closely with the product and development teams to ensure we get the most out of the software.

Responsibilities:

  • Software deployments using Ansible ( writing playbook)

  • Updating products and patches on both stage and live environments.

  • Ensure Incidents assigned to the team are being managed within agreed SLAs

  • Triage, troubleshoot and resolve issues with system availability, latency or performance.

  • Setup and maintain monitoring of systems and ensure alarms are documented in up to date Knowledge Base Articles.

  • Create and maintain Runbooks used by the team

  • Handling on-call supports on a rotational basis.

You will work in a geographically distributed team of experienced colleagues that all work with the same systems and products. It is a fast-paced environment where each team member play a central role for the business.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a person who has previous experience of working in a Systems Administration, SRE or DevOps role with an application focus.

  • Hands on experience on DevOps tools such as Jenkins, scripting and writing pipeline for CI/CD.

  • Working experience on AWS cloud and deploying applications through DevOps tools.

  • Strong background in Linux and automated deployments using tools like Ansible.

  • We believe that you love troubleshooting and get excited when you need to investigate problems or learn new features.

  • You are a flexible team player with strong problem-solving skills, have a passion for business and the ability to communicate with different stakeholders within the organisation.

  • As a person you are curious and always want to improve yourself as well as the team.

  • We also believe you have experience of working with ITIL processes and knowledge about industry leading public IaaS solutions such as AWS.
