Job Description
The Technical Manager, Enterprise Applications & Integration will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of skilled administrators and developers focused on our core CRM, integration, and marketing automation platforms. This role requires a strong technical background with practical, hands-on experience in Salesforce (including CPQ), MuleSoft, and a solid understanding of HubSpot. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of career progression from an individual contributor role into a leadership position over at least five years, demonstrating a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of these tools and how they function together within an IT ecosystem. You will be instrumental in guiding architectural decisions, overseeing development best practices, and ensuring the stability and performance of these critical business systems.
Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce, CPQ, MuleSoft, and HubSpot administrators and developers.

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the Salesforce, MuleSoft, and HubSpot platforms, ensuring solutions align with overall IT strategy and business needs.

Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions within Salesforce, including complex CPQ configurations and customizations.

Manage the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring efficient and reliable integration between Salesforce, HubSpot, and other internal/external systems.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of all managed systems.

Develop and enforce technical standards, best practices, and governance policies.

Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

Stay current with the latest features and capabilities of Salesforce, CPQ, MuleSoft, and HubSpot, evaluating their potential impact and benefit to the organization.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the integrated platforms.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Technical Acumen: A deep, practical understanding of how Salesforce (including the intricacies of CPQ), MuleSoft, and HubSpot function at an architectural and hands-on level. You should be comfortable diving into configurations, code (Apex, SOQL, etc., as applicable), and integration flows.

Leadership & Team Development: The ability to effectively lead, mentor, and develop a technical team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Integration Expertise: A solid grasp of integration patterns and best practices, specifically with MuleSoft connecting Salesforce and HubSpot to other systems.

Business Alignment: The capacity to understand business needs and translate them into effective and scalable technical solutions that drive revenue and operational efficiency.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple integrated platforms.

Proactive & Strategic Thinking: The foresight to anticipate future needs and challenges, planning for system growth and evolution.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT roles, with a significant focus on Salesforce architecture, design and development.

Demonstrated career progression from an individual contributor role to a leadership position, with at least 2 years of experience leading a team.
-
Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, customization, and understanding of pricing and quoting.

Proven practical knowledge and experience with MuleSoft for enterprise application integration.
-
Practical knowledge of HubSpot for marketing automation, including its integration capabilities with Salesforce.
-
Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles within the Salesforce and integration landscapes.
-
Experience with data migration, data management, and data integrity best practices.
-
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
-
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
-
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferred.

Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist).

MuleSoft Certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Architect).
-
HubSpot Certification(s).

Experience with other sales, marketing, or finance technologies and their integration with Salesforce.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
