Job Description
Our team develops high-precision, highly integrated MEMS inertial sensors for applications in smartphones and wearables. We drive innovative engineering projects from concept phase until high-volume mass production. With our industry-leading products, we enable real-time motion detection, indoor navigation, gesture and activity recognition as well as optical image stabilization (OIS).
As a Motion Sensor Expert you are part of an interdisciplinary team driving the development of our next generation consumer inertial sensors and sensing systems from pre-development phase until series production. We implement technological innovations enabling advanced sensor system performance and ensure reliable system integration and testing for high volume and high quality mass production.
We are searching for motivated candidates with expertise in the field of inertial sensors, sensor design and test concepts to strengthen our cross-domain development team.
- Sensing the future: You participate in the enabling of exciting use cases in consumer technology; to achieve this goal you coordinate interdisciplinary areas for the development of the next generation of sensors from development to mass production
- Take responsibility: You are responsible for requirements engineering and derivation of key requirements for MEMS, ASIC, package, testing and SW from system requirements
- Integrated implementation: You plan, organize, implement, evaluate and analyze complex experiments and measurements in order to achieve the requirements
- Conscientious coordination: You document the results and present these in project reviews with internal stakeholders and to customers
- Create something new: You are the interface to Bosch corporate research and external partners to evaluate and develop new technologies and architectures for future sensor systems
Qualifications
- Personality: High level of interdisciplinary comprehension, customer orientation, creative drive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Working Practice: Very good decision-making abilities and positive team player with cross cultural competence
- Experience and Knowledge: More than 5 years of industry experience with deep understanding of gyroscopes and acceleration sensor systems; Experience with MEMS devices welcome
- Qualifications: Understanding of system modelling, for example using SystemC; Multiple years experience in data evaluation in Matlab or Python
- Languages: Fluent English, German beneficial
- Education: Master or equivalent degree in Microsystems Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Information Technology or comparable qualification
