The primary role of IT Infrastructure function is to deliver IT Infrastructure solutions, ensuring the design & implementation of global & regional solutions support the business requirements. The function requires expertise across a broad range of technologies focusing on data center, hardware, networking and enterprise server product. Key deliverables include proactively analyzing the existing data center infrastructure. Providing support and technology specific solutions for both in house developed and others Infrastructure systems.

- The primary objective of Network Engineering specialization within IT Infrastructure Job Family is to operate the company's data communications systems.
- Key responsibilities include consulting with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priority of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions; planning, designing, and implementing network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols; supporting and troubleshooting network issues and coordinating with vendors for installation.
- Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
- Responsibilities might include:
(1) Performing routine professional-based activities (early in career)
(2) Contributing to and managing projects (mid-career)
(3) Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)
