You are a skilled technical communicator with a passion for delivering engaging live technical enablement, competitive positioning, and field training. You excel at simplifying complex technical concepts for both new hires and experienced GTM members, ensuring they can confidently execute in competitive deals and proof-of-value (POV) engagements. You work cross-functionally with Sales, GTM Leadership, Enablement, Product, and Competitive Intelligence teams to support technical enablement initiatives that drive measurable improvements in GTM competency, competitive win rates, and POV execution.

In this job, you will bring these skillsMinimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong domain knowledge in email cybersecurity and experience in technical enablement, sales engineering, or competitive intelligence.
  • Proven ability to deliver structured technical training sessions that improve SE onboarding, field execution, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent public speaking and live training delivery skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver enablement materials such as demo scripts, POV guides, competitive playbooks, and objection-handling resources.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess enablement effectiveness through field performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel as needed for live training sessions, customer meetings, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sales/Qualification frameworks like MEDDIC.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis.
  • Strong ability to partner with Product, PMM, and Competitive teams to align enablement with GTM strategy.
  • Experience running live webinars, boot camps, or in-person technical workshops.

Role ResponsibilitiesLive Technical Enablement & Training

  • Deliver structured live enablement sessions for GTM, focusing on technical fundamentals, competitive differentiation, and advanced deal execution.
  • Facilitate technical enablement as part of new hire onboarding, helping GTM ramp quickly and efficiently.
  • Deliver ongoing technical training to ensure GTM stays up to date on product innovations, competitive intelligence, and evolving deal execution strategies.
  • Support SEs in developing advanced technical skills and competitive positioning techniques to improve POV execution.
  • Measure effectiveness of enablement through competency assessments, POV win rate improvements, and field engagement metrics.

Strengthening Competitive Execution

  • Deliver monthly competitive deep dives focused on Proofpoint, Avanan, and other key competitors, ensuring SEs and AEs understand how to effectively differentiate.
  • Provide field support on competitive objection handling, POV strategies, and technical positioning in live deals.
  • Develop and deliver competitive POV assets and demo environments to highlight Abnormal’s technical differentiators in customer evaluations.
  • Support win/loss analysis by gathering and distilling field insights to improve competitive execution strategies.

Supporting Product & Process Excellence

  • Partner with Product and PMM teams to ensure enablement content aligns with product releases, ensuring GTM is fully equipped to support new launches.
  • Train GTM on POV best practices, helping them optimize execution and highlight Abnormal’s key competitive advantages.
  • Enhance field access to technical enablement resources by ensuring content is structured and easily consumable.
  • Measure enablement effectiveness by tracking resource utilization, engagement, and impact on deal execution.

Base salary range:

$144,500$170,000 USD
