Your mission
Based on business, operational or regulatory requirements and with respect for the objectives, budget, resources and timing, lead the analysis, development and implementation of technical domain scope. Define medium and long term technical plan and strategy of your domain (DataCenters & Core Sites).
As Technical Domain Leader, you:
- Analyze and assess technical solutions and evolution to fulfill business, regulatory and operational (functional and capacity) requirements.
- Lead medium to large size implementation projects, and coordinate/coach a core team for the solution or evolution implementation.
- Conduct the implementation of the technical solutions (in collaboration with the integration engineers if needed).
- Write functional and technical specifications and requests for proposal.
- Define in collaboration with the supplier, the technical part of the contract. Support Procurement and analyse the requests for proposals (supplier selection).
- Generate methods, procedure and technical documents regarding technical solution and evolution (architecture, impact analysis).
- Be the problem management SPOC for yourTechnical Domain
- Act as a technical interface with the Orange Group, suppliers, other operators, regulatory institutions, to gather requirements and technical solutions, challenge Orange Belgium or Group solutions.
- Act as the main interface for any domain inquiry, related to technical domain and roadmap topics.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for the future considering the technical evolutions on the market
- Define the medium and long term technical plan and strategy of the domain.
- Manage the technical domain roadmap and maintain it.
- Interact with other technical domain leaders to consolidate the roadmaps and adapt the technical solutions to any other technical requirements.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and colleagues training

Specific expertise
- Deep knowledge of site environmental engineering
- Knowledge of Networks, Telecommunications, IT environment is desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, deployment and operations of technical environments in Data Centres or similar.

Specific requirement:
a positive security advice from the National Security Authority is required for this role and the HR team will support you in the process after contract signature.
