Technical Business Analyst
What does a successful Technical Business Analyst do at Fiserv?
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with Scrum Master experience to join our TeleCheck engineering group within our Payment Acceptance business. This role combines business analysis expertise with Agile leadership to drive product development and process improvement. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements while also facilitating Agile practices to ensure successful project delivery.
What you will do:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove impediments that hinder team progress and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and Agile metrics to stakeholders
- Act as a servant leader, fostering collaboration and communication between business and technical teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to understand business needs and recommend effective solutions
- Define and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, workflows, and process maps
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in an Agile environment successfully translating business requirements into technical specifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with a strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
- 4+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence
- 4+ years of experience with process modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools
- 4+ years of stakeholder management, excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA
- SAFe Agilist (SA) or other Agile-related certifications
