About the Role

Join our Engineering team and play a key role in supporting asset movement, packaging, and facility upkeep within our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Erith.
As a Technical Assistant you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic setting and make a real impact within our team.
This is a 4 month fixed term contract where you’ll be working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday
What you will be doing
- Asset Management: Efficiently handle the movement, packaging, and transportation of assets and spares across the CFC, using pallet trucks (training provided).
- Technical Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in technical and storage areas, ensuring an organised and high-standard environment.
- Team Support: Assist the Engineering and Maintenance teams with asset management, spares handling, and crate assembly using basic tools like electric drills and screwdrivers.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain the security of tools and equipment.
- Communication: Report issues promptly and complete documentation accurately to support smooth operations.

- Have practical problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Be an excellent communicator, with the ability to complete basic reports.
