The Tech Transfer & NIP Manager is a role specialized on NIPs to engage with Ministers of Healths and other key stakeholders to deliver the full value of Pfizer vaccines to customers.
Responsible for the Pfizer relationship with Ministers of Health (MOHs) National Immpunization Programs (NIPs). The Tech Transfer & NIP Manager becomes an expert for the NIP and is responsible for managing end to end interactions under the supervision of Vaccines Institutional Channel Lead.
The Tech Transfer & NIP Manager manages MOH's Tenders to supply the National Immunization Programs with Pfizer's vaccines, understanding customers needs, aiming to gain quick access of new products/indications and generating profitable & sustainable growth.
Also, Tech Transfer & NIP Manager manages tech transfer processes with local partners and develops business cases to obtain internal approval of new localization projects to supply NIP if that is legally required in the tender terms and conditions.
The Tech Transfer & NIP Manager proposes and coordinates execution of actions to support National Immunization Programs from a logistical, information systems and communicational perspective and in order to promote vaccination at country level.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Tech Transfer & NIP Manager will be responsible for managing the Argentina NIP listed Pfizer vaccines and the current Tech Transfer agreement of Prevenar with Local Partner Sinergium Biotech.
- Comply with the tender requirements regarding vaccine supply locally manufactured under the current Tech Transfer with Sinergium Biotech.
- Coordinates a cross-functional team through the process of building business cases for valuation of Tech Transfers opportunities in Argentina and making a business decision.
- Ensure the project continuity by strengthening the relationship with our local strategic business partners.
- Coordinate processes between Pfizer and the local partner from raw materials, supply, costs and invoicing.
- Commercially coordinates the Tech Transfer and the cross functional teams from both parties.
- Own the forecast elaboration and follow up for annual purchase, forecast revenue and phasing of the all the vaccines included in NIP calendar.
- Defines Key Performance Indicators to track and measure NIP vaccines performance.
- Financially follow-up of the project and periodically review P&L.
- Provides timely reporting to Vx CBLs, alerting them to the possibility of endangered/missed or conflicting milestones, critical path activities.
- Connects customers with internal Medical SMEs.
- Develop and operationalize the approved public policy plan or healthcare initiatives for vaccines, and engage key stakeholders (MOHs, Health Secretaries, Technical Committess).
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers to understand customers unmeet needs and coordinate business objectives to maximize access to vaccination.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree desired.
- Fluency in Business English
- +5 years of pharmaceutical experience in marketing, commercial or relevant function.
- Experience to develop and execute business strategies and in proactively engaging with key decision makers.
- Strong project management skills and business development experience.
- Experience at planning and executing an effective relationship strategy and building/maintaining effective, long-term relationships with key decision makers from MOH, NIP and Local Partner.
- Vaccines experience (Preferable)
- Tender & Contracts experience (Preferable)
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including HQ Function
- Advanced Experience in Office suite (Power Point, Excel, Word)
- Strategic planning and effective operational execution & controlling of forecasts
- Understanding of organizational resources, priorities, needs & policies of Pfizer and Key Customers.
- Understanding of financial and business drivers, political, economic, legal, and cultural factors and how these impact Pfizer and Payers.
- Creativity and judgment in delivering innovative new approaches, value added propositions and solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Experience in analyzing complex new situations, anticipates potential problems & future needs, and assesses opportunity impacts and risks.
