Job Description

Responsibilities
• Develops new processes/procedures, and reviews current methods applied in the fabrication of semiconductors.
• Compiles and analyzes test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process, material, and hardware specifications.
• Works with design, sales and marketing groups, along with other functional areas, to recommend and prepare changes, and modifications, which will facilitate manufacturing.
• Provides support to our various internal and external customers on strategic continuous improvement projects.
• Utilizes experimental design and SPC techniques for tool and process optimization.
• Interacts directly with internal and external customers by creating and presenting reports on current projects and activities.
• Communicates verbally and in written form to explain process work and influence customer interactions.
• Self-manages multiple, complex, long-term projects by creating project tracking documentation, organizing meetings and performing project management tasks.
Typical Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or Master's Degree without experience; or Associate's Degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience:

Photolithography, Semiconductor Industry experience


Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Duties also include application of proper industry safety procedures when working with dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities and customer locations may be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
