Responsibilities and duties
- Ensure that the software being developed by the team follows good development practices and adherence to the standards, tools and technologies used at Ebury Bank;
- Act as a developer together with the engineering team;
- Understand the requirements and business flows and help the development team define the solution to be built;
- Seek improvements in processes and team performance;
- Support developers with technical questions;
- Identify the technical risks of the solution and develop mitigation mechanisms and actions;
- Support product team in decision making;
- Responsible for interfacing with other teams necessary for the team;
- Work on troubleshooting and investigating problems in production;
- Keep updated and monitor the resolution of technical debts;
- Lead by example.
Requirements and qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in software development;
- Good communication skills with technical teams;
- Leadership skills;
- Excellence in hard skills such as: development, diagnosis and troubleshooting;
- Having participated in the development of mission-critical platforms (24/7) will be considered an advantage.
