YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader O2C professional to join our newly created Order to Cash Team within the Global Finance Operations Department in our HQ.

The Journey

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 highly skilled professionals, including Senior and Junior Billing Assistants, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence in invoicing and payment processing.
  • Oversee end-to-end billing processes for multiple business verticals (Couriers, Restaurants, Brands Ads, On-Demand, Users), managing high-volume invoice cycles with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the central point of coordination with internal departments such as Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Commercial, and Tech teams to research and resolve billing discrepancies, enhance workflows, and drive process optimization.
  • Design and implement strategies for accounts receivable and cash collection, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and effective debt control.
  • Ensure all inquiries and exceptions are documented, tracked, and resolved efficiently, maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the implementation of standard operating procedures and propose enhancements to reduce billing incidents and improve SLA adherence.
  • Train new team members and support continuous learning across the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and upskilling.
  • Collaborate with Legal, other Finance departments , and Product teams to align billing operations with Glovo’s compliance policies and financial goals.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, reporting performance directly to the Country Lead and Director of Finance Operations, with a focus on results and process quality.
  • Support and guide the billing transformation initiatives including automation, ERP improvements, and the successful migration from Navision to SAP.

What You Will Bring To the Ride

  • Proven experience in supervising billing or finance teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in billing and 2+ years in people management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Navision, proprietary tools), with demonstrated success in system transitions and integrations.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple invoicing cycles while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; additional language skills (e.g. Spanish,Portuguese or Italian) are a plus.
  • Hands-on, analytical approach to problem-solving with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Empathetic leadership style, with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and develop talent.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service to both internal stakeholders and external partners, upholding Glovo’s core values of GlownershipHigh Bar, and Good Vibes.
