A Project Management Tech Lead is a member of the project management team who supports program managers/CDOs and acts as a liaison between various teams ensuring smooth project execution within set timelines. This role requires effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
- Project Scope Definition: Develop a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and any variances are addressed promptly.
- Schedule Development: Create and maintain the project schedule, coordinating with vendor partners, cross commit teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources to ensure efficient project execution.
Team Management
- Staffing: Assemble and manage a project team, including Software engineering leads, developers, QE and subcontractors.

Risk Management
- Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project, including financial, compliance, and operational risks.
- Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and handle unforeseen issues.
- Contingency Planning: Prepare contingency plans to address potential problems and minimize disruptions.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in software based solutions.
- Hands on experience as project manager or project coordinator for software based solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to clearly articulate concepts and rationale.
- Must possess a solid understanding of digital technologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Certification: PMP.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage team, facilitate discussion, mentor team members and resolve conflict.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
