As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities 

• Supervise the daily operations of the procurement team, providing support for any questions and ensuring processes are consistently followed to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor process gaps related to order success and optimization. Identify and report these gaps to management, along with proposed solutions and innovative strategies to enhance the overall process.
• Provide continuous coaching to the team on day-to-day processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Create, implement, and monitor the team's customer communication strategies to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with the team to review pricing strategies before sending them to customers, ensuring orders are both profitable and offer a competitive price structure.
• Foster strong supplier relationships by ensuring effective communication between their team and ours. Oversee quality control of calls made by the team, intervening when needed, providing coaching, and delivering feedback to management.
• Consistently evaluate, support, and define the team's KPIs to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
• Weekly meetings & coachings to ensure team is supported and GoMaterials consistently has top talent - QA feedback loop
• Collaborate with pre-purchase (estimation, QA) & post-purchase counterparts to ensure customer satisfaction, order success, pricing strategies and processes remain consistent
• Work closely with the Prioritization team lead to align on priorities, ensuring orders are processed and completed within the required timelines to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Other team lead tasks as seem fit to ensure we meet overall customer experience and increase revenue

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in both English and French
