THE OPPORTUNITY
Can you imagine yourself being part of a company and team where it’s all about people? Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dynamic People Operations team in a growing international tech scale-up?
As Team Lead People Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant people processes across several countries. Your mission is to oversee and further scale our operational HR setup while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and employee experience. You will work in close collaboration with our People Business Partners, Recruiting, and external providers to create a seamless employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. This role is based in Munich (hybrid) and is open to part-time candidates.

THE TEAM'S MISSION THIS YEAR
As the global People and Culture compass, we enable our existing and future employees (or as we like to call them, ‘Spatialists’) to grow, succeed, and make an impact. We make up the backbone of NavVis.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Operations specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Ensure seamless and compliant people operations covering the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding across several countries
- Steer and oversee payroll providers, ensuring smooth payroll operations in compliance with local regulations
- Drive compliance with employment laws and regulations, with a strong focus on Germany and additional international markets
- Collaborate closely with People Business Partners and Recruiting to create consistent and scalable processes that support our company’s growth
- Lead initiatives to scale People Operations processes as the company grows, implementing best practices and automation where possible
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
- Experience working in an international company, managing employment operations in Germany and at least one other country
- Ideally a proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing teams, fostering both individual and team growth
- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Recruiting, Finance, and external providers
- A passion for optimizing and scaling People Operations processes while maintaining compliance and a high level of service
- Strong background in German employment regulations
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)
