Team Lead Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor operational performance and identify risks affecting KPIs such as on-time performance, transit times, and pending assignments.
- Proactively notify stakeholders (internal and external) about potential risks impacting deliveries and service levels.
- Lead special projects, including the development of SOPs, corrective action plans, and process optimizations.
- Coordinate daily operational priorities, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Facilitate daily meetings to track shipment statuses, documentation, and critical incidents.
- Manage escalations and key relationships with carriers, warehouses, and service providers.
- Ensure data accuracy by conducting daily audits on operational reports and shipment tracking systems.
- Oversee weekend and after-hours operations, providing guidance and escalation support.
- Participate in leadership meetings, client reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Capable of conducting workshops and training sessions with customers and carriers.
- Leadership of different logistics specialties Planning, appointments scheduling, and Track & Trace.
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
