Armanino is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Tax Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within the tax domain, and a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects within scope, timeline, and budget.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and oversee multiple tax-related projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget constraints.  

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including tax professionals, technology specialists, and consultants, to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.  

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.  

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles and proactively implement solutions to ensure successful project delivery.  

  • Lead project meetings, facilitate discussions, and provide regular updates to project team members and stakeholders.  

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and effectively managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.  

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax Managed Services division, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.  

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with a focus on tax services or related fields.  

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, meeting or exceeding project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.  

  • Strong understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements; experience working in tax consulting or advisory services is highly desirable.  

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and senior leadership.  

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $87,500 - $130,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
