JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Associate will report to the Tax Senior Manager and will assist with a broad range of tax matters, including tax compliance, provision, audits, research, and process improvements. This position will gain exposure to the US domestic, international and foreign tax reporting, compliance and planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and yearly consolidated financial statement provision calculations and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of tax return workpapers and calculations related to federal, state and local compliance reporting
- Asist with coordination, tracking and management of tax compliance and other matters
- Assist with transfer pricing cross-charge calculations
- Assist with the compilation of information pertaining to US federal, state and local tax audits
- Interact with various internal departments regarding tax and accounting matters
- Participate in special tax projects and perform other duties as required
- Provide occasional assistance with indirect tax and other tax submissions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- 2-3+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or industry
- Experience preparing income tax provision and compliance workpapers
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and attention to details
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
