Our Tax group is an essential component of the Linklaters international tax network, with over 150 tax experts worldwide advising on all aspects of cross-border advisory and transactional tax matters. Particular fields of expertise include M&A and joint ventures, capital raising, structured finance, as well as real estate, private equity and investment funds. Our highly experienced tax specialists have built up a wealth of expertise in all aspects of international tax planning using Luxembourg collective investment, holding and financing vehicles.
To support our Tax team, we are currently looking for a:
Tax Lawyer
Key responsibilities and challenges
- Participate actively in drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation;
- Undertake research on technical tax aspects to advise our clients;
- Direct involvement in tailored tax structuring for multinational corporates, investment funds, and financial institutions;
- Work closely with other departments (cross-practice) and offices (cross-border).
Qualifications and skills required
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in Tax law and outstanding academic qualifications. Qualified lawyer (CCDL and/or foreign bar qualification), or willing to take the bar exam;
- Affinity with numbers (basic knowledge of Excel);
- Professional proficiency in French and English, German is considered as an asset;
- Team player;
- Reliable and committed, eager to learn.
