About the Opportunity:
Life Fitness/Hammer Strength is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Coordinator to coordinate and support various tax-related activities, including sales tax, property tax, income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will support the compliance of all tax regulations as directed and be capable of handling multiple tax functions efficiently.
**This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - typically M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days** #LI-Hybrid)
Our Tax Clerk will be responsible for:
- Coordinate monthly sales tax and Canadian GST/HST filings and payments.
- Coordinate property tax and personal property tax payments.
- Support income tax provision and return filings, both US and non-US.
- Track VAT payments and assist with VAT-related queries.
- Handle administrative tasks such as accounts payable processing, monthly accruals and budget review, document coordination and retention, and legal entity package preparation.
- Support transfer pricing activities and maintain tax documentation.
What we're looking for in our Tax Clerk (Qualifications):
- High School degree or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in various business-related software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
