Job Description

Joining the team at a pivotal time in our transformation journey, the Tax Analyst will report to the International Tax Manager, supporting them and other team members with global tax compliance and managing budgets. Critical for this role are good practical project management skills and numerical skills, on top of a solid accounting knowledge base.

Responsibilities: 

• Track and manage our co-sourced corporate income tax compliance process, supporting the local teams and escalating issues to ensure the timely filing of tax returns by local entities.

• Track and manage our global tax fees and scope of work with our global tax advisers, arranging Purchase Orders and invoice processing as well as tracking the tax budget and accruals.

• Support with Transfer Pricing calculations and the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation.

• Manage cash taxes and cash tax forecasting, by coordinating with local finance teams and other departments.

• Track and manage processes and data collation from accounting, legal, treasury and finance teams for tax compliance and planning purposes.

• Support the International Tax Manager, Transfer Pricing Manager and Global Tax Accountant as needed.

Qualifications

Required Competence:

• Methodical with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate under pressure in a fast paced, transformational environment.
• Ability to manage their workload autonomously, managing their own deliverables while asking for support or escalating issues when needed.
• Team player, ability to work with others on shared deliverables, sharing knowledge and managing other’s expectations.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Required Education & Experience:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional accountancy certification (for example ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Demonstrable experience of managing deliverables to a deadline.
• Minimum 3 years practical experience working in a large accountancy firm or multinational group.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel.
• Experience of tax return compliance process.

Desirable:

• Experience of transfer pricing calculations and/or documentation.
• Experience of managing budgets and/or Purchase Orders.
• Experience working in a high growth or fast moving environment.

Advantageous:

• Professional tax certification (ATT or CTA)
• Experience of tax return preparation or international taxes.
• Experience of IFS Thor.
