What are we looking for?
We’re seeking an individual who can take charge of preparing tax return spreadsheets, ensuring all data is accurate and reconciled across multiple platforms. You’ll work with our accountants and managers to handle financial year (FY) data, process APIs, and ensure client tax return data is seamlessly managed.
What are you expected to do?

Tax Return Preparation and Data Entry

• Create new spreadsheet templates for client tax returns.
• Process APIs for FY data using Crypto Tax Mate (CTM) software and input data into spreadsheets.

Reconciliation Tasks

• Reconcile API data and crypto balances on and off exchange platforms.
• Cross-check crypto balances with EOFY reports.
• Input and reconcile bank account transactions using Bank CSV data.

Invoice and Contribution Management

• Download and reconcile NBC invoices for the financial year.
• Download and reconcile ESA contributions.

Fund and Account Management

• Create and register funds in BGL software.
• Register ESA accounts.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Tax return working with Australian client
• You have strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 360, and other financial software.
• You’re familiar with platforms like Crypto Tax Mate, Dropbox, Pipedrive, QuickBooks, and BGL.
• You have familiarity with crypto currency industry
• You excel in financial reconciliation, data entry, and using APIs.
• You thrive in a transparent and collaborative environment.
• You’re organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by deadlines.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
