Talent Development Associate II
The Talent Development Associate II provides support for Niagara’s Talent Development Team, programs, processes, reporting needs, events, and all initiatives including but not limited to Internship, Professional Development, and Manufacturing Development programs. This role serves as a support to the achievement of overall departmental goals. This individual is responsible for supporting Niagara’s talent pipelines and providing bench strength support to the Talent Development team.
Essential Functions
- Drives support/administration of all Special Programs - Summer Internship Program (both HQ and Plant interns), Professional Development Program (PDP), Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) and other programs as needed
- Identifies areas of opportunity for continuous improvement related to all Special Programs, engaging in the process of an evolving and agile Special Programs system
- Assists as needed with execution of special programs to support overall departmental and organizational goals
- Contributes to the Talent Development team via administrative efforts focused on special program summits, event planning & coordination, intermediate recruiting efforts, initial phone screens & interviews, program participant travel organization, program support document administration/organization/distribution, and administration of various program monthly calls
- Assists with execution of activities which track the success of special program participants and activities which assist in mapping participant career paths
- Establishes and cultivates fruitful relationships with all members of Special Programs
- Is the first point of contact for Special Programs participant day to day needs
- Takes the lead on planning and coordinating Special Programs Kickoff Events – including vendor selection & management, cost negotiations & tracking, daily agenda & volunteer lists
- Administers the measurement of and tracks successes of the various development programs via end of program surveys with guidance of the Talent Development Manager

- 2 Years – Experience in Human Resources, Talent Development or similar field
