What You'll Be Doing

We seek a highly strategic and detail-oriented Talent & People Program Manager with a proven ability to co-lead and execute multiple Centers of Excellence, including people operations, talent acquisition, and activation and growth (L&D). You will have an inherent customer-provider relationship with key stakeholders in the business, including designing, delivering, and managing programs that continuously develop key organizational capabilities. 

This role requires a proven track record of designing and implementing impactful people and leadership development programs. The ideal candidate can identify problems, come up with solutions, and execute results, and has a passion for cultivating and growing talent across all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment.

This position will report directly to the VP of People and have the opportunity to develop into a senior management role within the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Co-Own people operations strategy, you will be critical in executing BeatStars' employee experience and ensuring a best-in-class execution.
  • Co-Own our recruiting process for tech and non-technical roles and ensured a best-in-class talent acquisition experience.
  • Co-Own our learning and development initiatives; facilitating a monthly virtual development session for our management and leadership team.
  • Have a deep business understanding of all functions to understand the needs of employees and managers.
  • Be an advisor and coach for the executive leadership team.
  • Manage our relationship with our HRIS, ATS, and other people systems.
  • Understand the budgeting process and adhere to an approved budget for the department
  • Deliver exceptional strategic organizational and program communication (via email, Slack, All Hands, etc.)
  • Inherently have a deep understanding of passion for customer orientation; delivering on our SLAs for candidate and employee questions, needs, and support. 
  • Maintain the Talent and People's function internal knowledge base in Confluence.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance to ensure payroll and other compliance tasks are executed.
  • Execute our bi-monthly newsletter; must have a creative ability, care deeply about spelling, format, and alignment ensuring an appealing content placement, and leverage Canva to enhance visual presentation
  • Manage updating policies with regulatory updates, and partner with legal when necessary.
  • Manage benefits renewals and open enrollment processes. 
  • Manage key reporting metrics to guide data-driven decisions; Drive team performance through KPIs, SLAs, and People Ops Metrics.
  • Execute proactive, timely, and strategic communications with employees, stakeholders, and others as necessary, ensuring the transparency and clarity of receivers. 
  • Develop visuals, decks, and marketing materials as you ship "products" to employees and candidates.
  • Effectively navigates ambiguous scenarios, works in a self-directed environment, and grasps concepts quickly in response to new assignments.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in People Operations, Talent Acquisition or L&D or similar role; 5+ years experience in a SaaS/B2C marketplace environment
  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related discipline. 
  • Deep understanding of customer (employee) orientation 
  • Desire to lead a team or department in the future
  • Independent and technically strong; can dig into tech systems to fully understand them and optimize for efficiency
  • Able to Manage end-2-end work 
  • Able to mentor others
  • Demonstrable competency in executing a strategic plan and a marketing mindset
  • Have a design-thinking approach to work
  • Sound judgment and aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Highly evolved Emotional Intelligence and vested in continuous leadership development
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

Compensation:

This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles only) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.


The remote US salary range for this role is $120,000-$130,000.
