Job Description
Based in our Sacramento office, we have an opportunity for a proactive and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to be part of our Global TA Team and report into the TA Regional Lead. This position will manage the hiring process for core to mid-level roles and support executive and senior hirings across multiple regions for TOMRA Food. We're looking for a customer centric talent professional that can live our values and takes pride in proactively sourcing high-quality talent for the business with an emphasis on providing an exceptional candidate experience.
You will have the opportunity to be part of exciting TA projects and recruitment initiatives and represent TOMRA at careers events enhancing candidate engagement and supporting the growth of our employer brand.
Due to the global nature of the role, it's essential for you to be flexible to accommodate other time zones.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and Post Job Ads: Write and publish role advertisements on LinkedIn and other job boards.
- Source Candidates: Utilize various sourcing methods, including ATS databases, job boards, and social media, to attract qualified talent.
- Talent Pool & Pipeline Management: Actively engage and manage candidates for frequently recruited roles within talent pools in the ATS.
- Role Briefings: Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements.
- Screening and Shortlisting: Conduct video/phone screenings and present a shortlist of candidates to hiring managers.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Offer Management: Support hiring managers and P&O Business Partners in extending offers, preparing employment contracts, and updating candidate status in the ATS.
- Background & Reference Checks: Conduct regional background and reference checks as required.
- Psychometric Testing: Administer psychometric tests and provide support to hiring managers in interpreting results.
Qualifications
Required Skills/abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent customer management abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to DEI.
- Effective decision-making and prioritization skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of in-house or agency recruitment experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ATS and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed).
- Knowledge of local employment legislation.
- Proficiency in English, Spanish being an asset.
Education:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business administration, Marketing or similar experience

Pay Band:
For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated annual base pay range for Talent Acquisition Specialist position is $65,016 to $81,270. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
