The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a crucial role in supporting the Talent Acquisition Department. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, your responsibilities go beyond recruitment and sourcing, it is also responsible for developing and implementing long-term talent strategies and processes. In this role, you will work towards becoming an expert in Workday and serve as a subject matter expert in the field. You will work towards optimizing the company's overall talent acquisition function. This includes developing talent-related processes, practices, and strategies, ensuring a positive candidate experience, providing hiring manager advisory, managing employer branding, tracking and reporting on talent-related metrics, as well as understanding the workforce plan. To excel in this role, you should have a process-oriented mindset, excellent business acumen, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring of temporary employees. Liaise with all external staffing agencies and maintain terms of business/service agreements.

  • Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures for Talent Acquisition department.

  • Act as a Talent Acquisition resource within and across HR groups.

  • Track and maintain reporting metrics on a regular basis.

  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements and convert hard-to-find passive talent through understanding of the business and employee value proposition.

  • Attend career and college fairs, and similar events.

  • Develop a strong partnership with hiring managers and other key partners.

  • Build solutions to consistently improve efficiency and results.

  • Workday Backup to Talent Acquisition Manager, when needed.

  • Develop into a SME for the recruiting part of Workday.

  • Serve as a role model for high quality customer service.

  • Responsible for the background process and reviewing background checks and addressing concerns.

  • Promote employer brand when reaching out to candidates on various platforms.

  • Assist with development and implementation on sourcing strategies that is in line with the company’s talent acquisition approach.

  • Participate in the development of ongoing innovative, creative, and cost-effective recruiting strategies through the effective understanding of issues and application of research and knowledge.

  • Work in partnership with recruiting leadership to determine, adjust and communicate sourcing needs and priorities as well as triage, diagnose and work in partnership to remedy issues that are impacting time to fill and/or an ideal candidate experience.

  • Partner with recruiting leadership to understand the business’ workforce planning, by volume, skill and by quarter to support business hiring goals.

  • Stay informed of the changing norms in the Energy Industry regarding skill set and competency demand and supply.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources management or business administration

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels.

  • Experience working in the Energy Industry or Manufacturing preferred.
