We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our growing Talent Acquisition team based in downtown Chicago. The role is responsible for fortifying the talent acquisition team, to effectively recruit and retain top talent within a values-oriented, high performance culture. It will provide leadership and development to ensure the seamless execution of recruitment efforts across the organization. The position will foster exceptional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and manage day to day functional responsibilities. In addition the role will be key in driving varied talent initiatives to support the company's overarching business objectives.
What will you do?
- Supervise, lead, coach, and provide ongoing development for the Talent Team in your area of responsibilities •Manage critical assessment, candidate engagement, and full cycle recruitment of employees across North America.
- Work with business to design, plan and implement creative, best-in-class recruiting initiatives and solutions specific to key roles
- Partner with peer roles in Talent and P&C to streamline and improve processes, ensure cross-training and consistency of protocols occur
- Use advanced knowledge of compensation philosophy and practice including salary negotiation, starting salaries based on competencies, skills sets and role and presentation of offers
- Ensure business leaders receive necessary training and coaching to successfully recruit
- Overall, develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain high quality employees
- Facilitate adhoc market compensation analysis
- Partner with functional line leaders to identify staffing and skill requirements for external recruiting, internal redeployment, executive recruiting and M & A support
- Create talent pipelines for key roles, using a variety of channels including the use of social media platforms, employee referral program, networking and unique opportunities/events
- Introduce new and/or improved methodologies for attracting, assessing, and selecting the best talent
- With leadership, continuously review and adjust the recruitment organizational structure, processes, and resources to achieve optimal results
- Collaborate with Marketing leadership on development and implementation of recruitment advertising/employer branding strategy
- Establish and support standards and goals for performance and metric reports to monitor, analyze progress and deliver meaningful reports to leadership
- Review annual bonus programs, one off incentive plans, and manage quarterly bonus recommendations and associated approval processes.
- Maintain ATS – including reporting and analytics ad hoc and weekly or as required
- Provide best practice advice and support on all matters relating to recruitment
- Optimize predictive index system to ensure effective use, interpretation and analysis of psychometric data
- Manage legal and regulatory compliance, liaise with management re; employment issues and educate and implement Equal Employment Opportunity practices and policies.
- Liaise with C-suite regarding candidate negotiations to ensure timely issue of contract documentation
- Advise on the use of and direct use of suppliers and Executive Search Specialists service and delivery.
- Project work, process improvements and ad hoc tasks as required. E.g. Social media planning, online induction, intranet updates, referral program, quality of hire surveys, ATS.
- Collaboration across all of P & C peers to achieve company driven tactical and strategic goals
- Drive referral program, as part of sourcing strategies analysis and to identify successful hires.
- Monitor, identify and drive key success activity metrics (screening/ manager interviews/ closed roles and sourcing yield ratios).
What are we looking for?
- Relevant previous experience and/or qualification (Business, Psych, HR or Legal).
- Exceptional understanding of contemporary full life cycle recruitment practices and relevant human resources processes.
- 4 + years leading and supporting high performance talent acquisition teams.
- Savvy in usage of social media to attract passive candidates/ creative sourcing skills.
- Experience as top talent acquisition executive in a small to medium sized national organization preferred. Agency background and training will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new systems and work procedures.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to the principles and practices of Equal Opportunity employment and confidentiality.
