Job Description Summary:
Business Coordinator Talent Acquisition associates are responsible for completion of the onboarding process for new hires. This role will be expected to leverage multiple systems to complete and ensure compliance for onboarding activities while assisting new hires through the process. This role reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, and does not have any supervisory or budget responsibilities.
Responsibilities And Duties:
The Business Coordinator for Talent Acquisition is responsible for assisting new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring that all onboarding steps are completed within service and compliance standards.
General Business Coordinator Talent Acquisition Responsibilities/Duties Include:
• Ensures proper completion of the new hire file, ensuring regulatory compliance with required pre-requisites, in accordance with the OhioHealth employment policy and appropriate job description.
• Conducts fingerprinting for new hire candidates / associates in accordance with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) standards and OhioHealth employment requirements.
• Completes the employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 and E-Verify) following USCIS guidelines.
• Attends and handles the registration process for New Associate Orientation.
• Works collaboratively with other departments to provide optimal service to both internal and external customers.
• Performs administrative duties, as required, to support the Talent Acquisition team.
• Identifies and responds to problems with appropriate action and follow-through.
• Work closely and collaboratively with other coordinators on the team to ensure consistency with practices / processes.
• Communicates effectively and professionally while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, High School or GED (Required)
Additional Job Description:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred (no minimum experience required with degree)
- Field of Study: HR or related field preferred
- Years of experience – 1 to 3
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- One to three years of HR or administrative / clerical experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills while maintaining a high-level of detail
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service; passion for the candidate experience
- Strong relationship building skills that demonstrate the ability to be social, engaging, personable, friendly, curious and inquisitive.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making ability
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
