This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum.The RoleThe Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) Team is looking for a Coordinator who shares GM's vision and interest in providing an exemplary customer service experience to our North American based candidates. Applicants who have a customer service focus, a passion for providing superb candidate care and always looking for new ways to improve or automate processes will be key to your success. Partnering with our Recruiters to deliver a candidate centric hiring experience requires expert judgment and attention to detail to support our growing Software & Services organization.What You'll DoSchedule complex screening and interviews with excellent candidate careManage scheduling conflicts and calendar changes from candidate and interview teamsEducate Recruiters and other stakeholders on how to best use interview scheduling toolsProvide outstanding candidate care. Ensure timely and accurate feedback to all inquiries for our Candidates, Recruiters, Hiring Managers and HR PartnersProvide in-person candidate greeting as needed and onsite interview supportMonitoring background checks and drug screens during the pre-employment stage, providing status updates and escalations where needed to ensure timely start datesManage and maintain candidate trackers in alignment with the Applicant Tracking System and candidate pre-employment resultsCommunicate to recruiting team any challenges throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and pre-employment process

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Teams)Agility to quickly learn new processes and recruiting technologiesExcellent customer service skills both written and verbalStrong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to coordinate between multiple stakeholdersMinimum 3 years supporting recruiting activities in a Coordinator capacity (including complex interview scheduling and monitoring background checks with adjudication)What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)Proficiency in using applicant tracking system (particularly Workday), and background check vendor tools (like HireRight)Previous experience supporting recruitment of technical roles in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work staggered hours to provide West Coast supportGM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
