Job Description
Job Title: Tableau Administrator
Location: St. Louis, MO - Hybrid
Job Type: Contract
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Tableau Server or Tableau Online.
- Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, including workbooks, data sources, extract refresh schedules, and server maintenance.
- Experience managing user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting Tableau performance issues and optimizing dashboards.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Tableau Server/Online features, including scheduling, content management, and server configuration.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting for automating administrative tasks is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing data security measures in Tableau.
