Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Interact with all business and customer partners to understand their problems and needs.
- Define the needs in a stakeholder needs document which is reviewed and approved by cross functional team members.
- Translate customer needs, business constraints, and regulatory requirements into product functional and performance system requirements.
- Conduct risk management activities including planning, risk analysis, risk evaluation and control.
- Lead the engineering team through the development of system architecture options. Objectively and holistically communicate trade-offs during the architecture selection process.
- Participate in system and subsystem architecture and design process.
- Analyse and propose solutions for product and customer issues.
- Decompose and allocate system level requirements into module level requirements.
- Plan and look after reliability and robustness activities.
- Lead the technical team through technical risk identification and management as well as issue and test defect resolution.
- Ensure changes are analyzed holistically and impacts are fully understood.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or comparable technical subject area).
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of engineering experience including fundamental understanding of Hardware and Software engineering.
- Knowledge in ISO 14971 Application of Risk Management to Medical Devices is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with others multi-functionally.
- Ability to work in the absence of complete information and make timely decisions.
- Strategic problem solver and can execute with excellent attention to detail.
- Organize & Ability to progress on many different tasks in parallel.
- Ability to plan, estimate and accurately track deliverables.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and verifiable requirements.
