We're hiring a IT Systems Manager in DC!
The Systems Manager is a highly motivated and detail-oriented technology expert, excited to help grow Call Your Mother Deli. The Systems Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and supporting technology systems on-premises and in the cloud. The Systems Manager should stay current on the latest technology, security, and best-practice guidelines for restaurant groups of our size to make recommendations for enhancements for our in-shop and in-office tech environments. This position is based in our office in Washington, DC. It will have a typical Monday-Friday work week with occasional weekends to support and minimize the impact on the day-to-day business operations.

Your core responsibilities will be:
- Develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on enhancing shop operations and the guest experience.
- Plan and supervise the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Ensure continuous operation of IT systems, especially POS and network infrastructure, across all shops.
- Manage menu and systems updates to POS system ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms
- Manage hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance in shops for optimal functionality.
- Resolve POS system issues promptly, either on your own or with our tech partners, to minimize downtime and customer inconvenience.
- Implement and monitor security measures for store and customer data, prioritizing POS system security and PCI compliance; lead and support vendors who assist.
- Conduct regular security audits and updates to mitigate threats; ; lead and support vendors who assist.
- Manage relationships with third-party partners and technology providers, ensuring they meet store needs and deliver value.
- Develop and oversee budgets for shop IT needs, including POS systems, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Utilize cross-functional collaboration and communication to quickly understand, troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve system issues
- Manage IT projects, focusing on shop integration, training and support for smooth rollouts.
- Oversee integration of POS systems with other business systems to ensure seamless operations.
You'll be a great addition to the CYM team if you:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, in restaurant or retail environments
- Experience with restaurant/retail systems, including Toast POS, supply chain management software, and people management software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with PCI DSS requirements and solutions.
- Strong background in quality assurance (QA) is a must.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
