The Systems Integration Manager will lead an interdisciplinary technical team to drive the solution delivery function for our clients and ensures a successful ramp-up of the delivered solution. Skills and knowledge basis will reside around Engineering, Controls, software technology, robotics, and equipment from across the supply chain industry. You will be a subject matter expert for bridging the gap internally in project teams as well as externally with Clients, Suppliers and or Installers. Finally, this role will have responsibility for gaining system acceptance respective to internal and Client testing.
 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal and external teams are aligned respective to the solution, the integration and requirements
  • Drive collaboration throughout project technical teams and third-party partners to successful execution against project requirements
  • Lead the development and execution of testing plans of all equipment and software involved to validate technical solution aligns to project performance requirements.
  • Ensure that controls and software systems, inclusive of third-party partners, work seamlessly as an integrated system to deliver versus the orient requirements
  • Monitor the acceptance tests of equipment supplied by third party partners.
  • Define the acceptance test procedures of the entire system and lead the execution of these tests.
  • Manage the ramp-up of a system by definition of the ramp-up scenario and continuously monitoring of these scenarios together with the client and Fortna-team

Education / Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following disciplines: industrial, mechanical or civil engineering, business or industrial or construction management. Experience should be in one or more of the following:

  • Distribution center (DC) environments
  • Integration management
  • Supply Chain consulting related work
  • Program/project leadership and/or supply chain executive leadership positions

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

  • Expert business acumen competencies, demonstrating extensive understanding and advanced skills with demonstrated application.
  • An Expert understanding of managing both indirectly and directly across multiple work-streams and projects. Demonstrated ability to manage remotely. Leads by example through developing broad project leadership that effectively assigns responsibilities and set clear expectations while assuring a high level of understanding.  Constantly communicates both up and down stream while coaching and developing others.
  • Highly advanced understanding of listening, verbal, and written communication competencies and skills with extensive demonstrated application of the skills.
  • Highly advanced skills for solving complex problems and developing solutions as well as teaching and developing others.
  • Highly advanced and demonstrated skills developing and managing budgets across multiple projects, work-stream, and programs. Demonstrated ability to manage projects for both on-time and on-budget metrics as well as coaching and developing others. 
  • Exceptional time management competencies demonstrated through extensive experience both delivering and managing others in the delivery of highly complex programs and projects on-time and on-budget.
  • Highly advanced presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Highly advanced Client management and project leadership skills, demonstrated through extensive consultative experience and knowledge.
  • Highly Proficient understanding of MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project & Visio)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
     

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s Degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Project Management, Business
