ABOUT THIS POSITION:

INflow Federal is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team! Are you passionate about engineering cutting-edge solutions and optimizing system performance? Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Debian.
• Integrate Linux servers with Active Directory or LDAP/Kerberos for centralized authentication.
• Design and implement solutions for system scalability, availability, and security in both virtualized and cloud environments.
• Install and configure essential services such as Apache (httpd), FTP (vftpd), and SSH (sshd).
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell, Perl, and Python scripting to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Manage virtualization environments with VMWare, Docker, or Podman for application and service deployment.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Apply system updates and patches using YUM, DNF, or WSUS, and ensure systems comply with ICD-503 security controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-level infrastructure.
• Document configurations, processes, and solutions to maintain operational consistency and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
• Certifications such as Linux+, RHCE, RHCSA, LPIC-1, LPIC-2, or LPIC-3.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian).
• Proficiency in virtualization tools such as VMWare and containerization technologies like Docker or Podman.
• Strong understanding of DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP protocols.
• Scripting expertise in Shell, Perl, and/or Python.
• Experience working on remote systems via command line.
• Knowledge of operating system update services (e.g., YUM, DNF, WSUS) and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack and Trellix Anti-Virus integration.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with NetApp cluster administration and backup technologies such as NetBackup.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Git-based configuration management.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and methodologies for workload scalability.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise-level Windows Server environments.

Required Clearance

• Active DoD Top Secret (Willing to obtain SCI)
